Dear Valued Gava Customers,
Please refer to the following news update for all Gava Clients exporting from America to New Zealand.
The ocean export to New Zealand from the U.S. West Coast has been severely compromised over the past year due to a combination of congestion in the U.S. and now severe congestion in Auckland, New Zealand.
As a result of this severe congestion, we are experiencing blank sailings from Los Angeles to New Zealand and expect this to last for the next few weeks, possibly longer.
The next vessels scheduled from Los Angeles to Auckland — Synergy Keeling v.203S and the ANL Warrnambool v.210S — carriers have implemented a call to a new port, Marsden Point, located about two hours north of our agent’s warehouse in Auckland. Please expect delays on the drayage at the destination.
We are currently working with the carriers to obtain the next available vessels, to update our schedules and bookings.
While we search for service from West Coast to New Zealand, you will find some of the vessels with show TBA; if you do decide to tender cargo for a TBA schedule from Los Angeles to New Zealand ports, please keep in mind that storage charges may apply.
In general, please expect delays in shipments to New Zealand.
